Ramona Agruma has spoken about her relationship with Rebel Wilson for the first time as the couple opened up to Vogue about the details of their recent wedding.
The luxury fashion designer, 40, gushed about meeting the Aussie actress for the first time in a Los Angeles hotel.
“After two weeks of talking and feeling a connection, I was nervous. Rebel arrived, and I instantly noticed her warm, charming smile. She put me at ease straight away… The chemistry was pretty instant,” she shared.

The couple mentioned they had vacationed in the Italian island of Sardinia early in their relationship, and so they decided it would be the spot for their private destination wedding a few years later.
Wilson, 44, and Agruma found themselves planning the wedding within only three months, with the designer taking the lead and planning with event planners Sara Carboni Events, while the Pitch Perfect The actress sorted the entertainment.
The couple wore similar looking wedding dresses from Spanish wedding gown designers Pronovias which they described as “a duet.”

“We didn’t want to look too similar, but we both have classic taste,” Agruma explained, “We wanted to wear traditional white bridal dresses and thought the dresses from Pronovias were gorgeous.”
Wilson went for a princess-style gown with a corset waistband, strapless neckline and detachable sleeves that she swapped out for the reception.
Agruma also went for an off-the-shoulder look and a sweetheart neckline, but chose an A-line skirt, a high corset waist, and a cathedral-style train.

The couple also shared that they wrote their own vows, having not heard them before the ceremony. “It was really emotional to hear what we’d written,” Agruma shared, adding that when the ceremony was over, they “felt so happy and grateful that all of our family and friends could join us in Sardinia.”
Despite the whirlwind weekend, “We had a brilliant time,” said Wilson, “It was everything we’re about: family, good friends, good food and wine, and good entertainment.”
“We look forward to taking some downtime now with baby Royce,” Agruma added.
