Genesis frontman Phil collins Has revised that he has lost his passion for music after facing health complications.
The Rocker recently spoke to Mojo magazine About Trying to go back to Recording music.

The outlet did not share any more information about his condition.
Collins Suffered A Spinal Injury in 2007 which caused severe nerve damage, Leaving Him Unable to Play Drums for a long time before undergoing surgery for it in 2015. Which makes it hard to walk, as well as type 2 diabetes. In 2017, He Suffered an injury to the head.

His Declining Health Saw Him Seated During the Final Ganesis Reunion Tour that ended in 2022, with his son nic playing the drums for him. Collins is also Father to actress lily collings.
Peter Gabriel, who was genesis ‘lead singer from 1967 to 1975, also spoke to the outlet about collins’ health.
He Recalled Being at London’s O2 Arena to Support the Band at their Final Show.

“Phil wasn’t in as great a shape as he used to be, but they did a great job,” He Told Mojo,
“Me going was a rite of passage, really. I’d ben part of the creation of genesis, so I wanted to be there at the end.”
The drummer opened up about his final drumming journey in his 2024 documentary Phil Collins: Drummer First.

“If I can’t do what I did as well as I did it, I’D raather relax and not do anything,” He said.
“If I wake up one day and I can hold a pair of drumsticks, then i’ll have a crack of it.
“But I just feel like i’ve used up my air miles. It’s stil kind of sinking in a bit… I’ve spent all my life playing drums.
