Tahnee Sims, the partner of the late Johnny Ruffo, has shared a heartbreaking tribute to the star on the one-year anniversary of his death.
former X Factor and Home and Away star Ruffo died at the age of 35 in November last year, following a battle with brain cancer.
In her post, Sims revealed just how much she misses her late partner and spoke about her grief.

“One year on without you… It feels like just yesterday & a lifetime ago all at once,” she began.
“There are so many things I wish I could say to you, so many moments I have wanted to share with you, so many times I’ve reached for my phone to call you, but the main thing I would want you to know, Is that I am okay 🙏🏽,” she wrote.
“Grief is incredibly heavy but it’s the price we pay for love & I’m so grateful for all of the years we got to share together & the lifetime of love & adventure we packed in.”

She added in her heartbreaking post: “Forever wouldn’t have been long enough with you…Miss you J.”
Sims also shared a quote which read: “I’m not sure I’ve done anything more meaningful with my life than to walk my person to the ends of this world, to the point where I could go no further.”

Ruffo’s former Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger commented underneath: “Sending truckloads of love dear Tahnee as we remember darling Johnny and smile knowing he is still in our hearts.”
Ruffo’s death was announced on his official Instagram account, saying: “Surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family, Johnny went peacefully with the support of some incredible Nurses & Doctors.”
The couple had met and started dating back in 2015
Ruffo previously told WHO: “Tahnee inspires me to want to do better and to be better.”
“She helps me find the fight every day and I’m so grateful for that. I can’t thank her enough. She’s unbelievable.”
