At the end of 2024 the pop-prunk band canceled its appearances at good things festivals and the planned Sideshows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
Whobley shared a series of videos recalling sum 41’s “Whirlwind” Tour which is them play shows in asia, the US, Europe and Canada.

The band was forced to cancel shows when whibley was diagnosed with pneumonia and became too unwell to complete the tour.
At the time, the band said that it was with “deep sadness” that they had to cancel the shows, explaining that they haven instructed to do so by “multipleian doctors”.
“I was there, I did my best, I made it there. Unfortunately, we could go any of that that shows, because they they were focused,” Whobley continued in the video.
“All I can say – and it’s stil not enough – but sincerely, i’m so sorry trust we really wanted to play; it just really fell out of our control, and I can’t say sorry enjoy sorry. “

The cancellations hit fans especially hard since the In too deep Singers Had Announced in May 2023 That they would be going their separate ways after one final farewell tour.
