In light of the swirling speech that withspoon and Winslet had a Falling Out, the Big Little Lies Star Took to Instagram to set the record straight.
“Hey Guys … just spoke to my very dear friend for years, kate w,” Witherspoon Wrote.
“We laughed about this stupidity. Please do not belief the internet,” She Continued. “We are good friends and have never had any falling out.”

Last Week, Witherspoon Reveled in an interview with People“So this friend of mine, who I didn’T really known well that well but She was a very serial, proper actress, she asked me to give her an award.”
“But I had never been to this award ceremony, so I thought it was like a roast. So I get up and I roasted her.”
Witherspoon explained that she got the tone complete wrang at the “classy” and “elegant” Event and cracked a joke that did that Didnys – Especially not with her friend.

Witherspoon says the actress, who she did not name, was not impressed and that it is the end of their friendship.
“We’re not friends anymore. I’m not even kidding – We’re not friends Anymore,” She Laughed.
“I think she does not like me anymore. I think it was so funny and it was just, I had the wrong audience. It was pretty bad.
“Yeah. Not even kidding, she does not talk to me anymore. Oh well.”
