Jimmy Barnes has shared a heartwarming health update after recently walking his daughter down the aisle.
The Aussie singer, who was hospitalized in December for open heart surgeryrevealed he has been working on his fitness and music while on holiday with his wife Jane.
“It’s our last day in this paradise. Aside from working on my fitness and health, these holidays have given me time to create,” he wrote in an Instagram post from their holiday.

“I’ve written a couple of new songs and 10 short stories. 46 laps today just to make sure 1km swim wasn’t a one off,” he added alongside some sweet snaps from his vacation.
Just the day before, the 67-year-old told his 228,000 followers that he had reached his rehab goal to swim 1km while sharing a victory photo of him in the pool after the feat.
“I wasn’t up to that prior to heart surgery and today it’s done. Great to have my @jane13barnes’ encouragement and support,” he thanked his wife.

The singer underwent open heart surgery before Christmas after a bacterial infection he’d been battling for two weeks spread to his heart.

Jack Black spotted at Aussie shopping center
Over the weekend, Barnes shared some beautiful photos from daughter Eliza-Jane’s wedding at The Stables at Bendooley Estate in Berrima, New South Wales.
Barnes posted pics to Instagram of him walking his daughter down the aisle, arm-in-arm in a Scottish kilt during the ceremony on February 28.
He also shared some adorable family snaps from the day with his wife Jane, son, Today Extra host David Campbell, and grandson Theodore.

“Teddy’s parents got married. We sang together as I walked EJ down the aisle to give her away, and nothing could have made me more proud,” Barnes captioned his post.
“EJ sang her vows in a love song she wrote for her Jim. Jim joined our family and we joined the Metherell clan,” he continued.
“What more could a man wish for than the blessing of all these extraordinary loved ones around me. And this wee guy of course.”
