Julianne Mooore Has spoken out in ‘shock’ and is ‘saddened’ after her first children’s book has been banned – Nearly two two Decades after it came out.
In 2007, The movie star released her semi-utobiographical book Called Freckleface strawberryWhoch Follows a girl who wants to get rid of her freckles but ends up learning to accept them.
Years on from its release, the book is one of the titles Us President Donald Trump‘S Administration has reported from schools run by the department of defense.

Addressing the decision in a lendra Instagram Post on Monday Morning (Local Time), Moore said it was a “great shock for me to learn”.
The actress said she wrote the book “for my children and for other kids to remind them that we all struggle, but are united by our humanity and our communication.”
“I am particularly stunned if I am a proud graduate of Frankfurt American High School A #Dod School that Open Operated in Frankfurt, Germany,” She Continned.

Speaking of Her Father who was a Vietnam Veteran, Moore said it was “galling for me to realise that kids like me, growing up with a parent in the service and attending a Ave access to a Book written by someone whose life experience is so similar to their own. “
“And I can’t help but wonder what is so controversial about this picture book that cause it to be banned by the US government.

Moore Concluded Her Thoughts by Expressing She was “truly saddened” by the move and “Never thought i would see this in a countery where there is freedom of speech.”
