Michael J Fox Isn’t saying no to a return to acting.
The Back to the Future The actor announced his retirement back in 2020 as his battle with Parkinson’s disease became more difficult.
Now the 62-year-old Hollywood icon has told Entertainment Tonight he would consider acting again “if I could figure it out.”

“If someone offers me a part and I do it and I have a good time, great. I mean, the documentary was a big thrill,” he told the outlet.
In 2023, Fox did a documentary with Apple TV+ called Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, which follows his decades-long struggle with Parkinson’s.
“I would never have set that as a goal. It just happened,” Fox said of his involvement with the documentary.

“I would do acting if something came up that I could put my realities into it, my challenges, if I could figure it out,” he admitted.
Fox was just 29 when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991.
After starring in film and TV roles such as the Stuart Little movies and Spin CityFox retired from acting three years ago following a guest role on The Good Fight.

speaking to The Hollywood ReporterFox said he “couldn’t remember the lines” while filming his scenes on The Good Wife spin-off series in 2020.
“I didn’t freak out. I just went, ‘Well, that’s that. Moving on. A key element of this process is memorizing lines, and I can’t do it,'” he told the outlet.
In another recent interview with ETFox admitted, “after 35 years or something since I’ve been diagnosed, this is just my life and I don’t think about it much.”

“I don’t even think about (it). Except that I’m thinking about what we’re going to do as a community to figure this out and find a cure… and short of a cure, (create) treatment. centers that are really groundbreaking.”
Over the years Fox has been an advocate for those suffering with Parkinson’s.
The teen wolf star established his own foundation for funding Parkinson’s disease research, the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000.
After stepping away from Hollywood, the actor made a surprise appearance onstage at the 2024 BAFTA Awards during which he received a standing ovation.
