The Sydney-born actress rose to fame in the US after her three-year stint on the TV series, The Royals,

Park played Princess Eleanor on the show about a fictional British monarchy, with Elizabeth Hurley playing Queen Helena, controversial wife of the King of England.

It’s believed Park met Lafferty back in 2015 when he directed an episode of The Royals.
