November 21, 2023: David and Cruz Beckham have stepped out together at the premiere of The Edge Of Everything.

The father-son duo are close, but it seems Cruz, 18, didn’t know much about his dad’s iconic football career before the recent Netflix docuseries was released.

In a recent interview with Allure, Victoria Beckham spoke about her teenage son’s reaction to the hit series.

She said their youngest learned about his dad’s time as a soccer legend during the peak in his career.

“Cruz, our youngest son, said, ‘Wow, I had no idea Dad was so good at football’,” Posh, 49, said.

“It made me laugh, when I came up on the screen: ‘David Beckham’s wife.’ Brilliant.”

“The other night, me and David drove to our country house and went to the local pub,” she added.

Upon returning to their car, “someone had put a note under the windscreen wiper: ‘Dear Posh and Becks, On behalf of all the British football fans, we are sorry.’ David joked, ‘We need to go out and lap this up more often.'”
