1985: Julia is pictured in the mid-’80s with her brother Eric Roberts and Jon Voight, Angelina Jolie’s dad, who all starred in Runaway Train together.

Eric was an actor first and had considerable success in the ’70s and ’80s, before his sister followed in his footsteps.

The pair were born to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. who reportedly ran a children’s theater company together.

But she got into acting and modeling after high school and things took off from there.

One of her first acting credits is one episode of 1987’s crime storybefore taking on roles in Miami Vice and Satisfaction.

She and her brother then Miami Vice and the film Satisfactionbefore she and Eric took on jobs in the Western film blood red together in 1989.

He recently apologized to his famous sibling in his memoir. Runaway Train: Or, The Story of My Life So Far for crediting her career to him.

”Now one of the things I’d like to apologize for in this book is for publicly saying on more than one occasion, ‘If it wasn’t for me, there would be no Julia Roberts,'” he wrote, according to people.

“That’s not only unfortunate, but it’s also untrue,” he said, adding: “It was an asinine thing to have said.”
