Vivo has formally announced the unveiling of its Vivo X200 Series, which is scheduled for October 14 in China. This brand-new flagship collection will consist of three models: the Vivo X200, the Vivo X200 Pro, and a compact Vivo X200 Pro mini. Before its launch, the vice president of Vivo, Jia Jingdong, has divulged the layout of the upcoming handsets, offering a sneak peek of what people might see in the Vivo X200 Series.
As per the report, the Vivo X200 Pro and Pro Mini will apparently have a premium design. The Vivo X200 Pro mini is supposed to provide a micro-quadruple camera layout at the back, and a slightly smaller display with narrow borders and round corners. Both the handsets will feature giant rear camera segments and the Pro model apparently will have a leaner profile. The Vivo X200 series will continue to feature ZEISS optics, just like its predecessor, the X100 series.
The Vivo X200 Pro likely to be up for grabs in multiple shades such as titanium, white, black, and blue. The mini model will be available in a few additional colors like pink and green. The new Vivo X200 collection is predicted to make its entry into the Indian market in early 2025.
Despite being smaller, the Pro Mini is also one of the power-packed handsets of this series. It might boast a 6.3-inch 120Hz LTPO 1.5K OLED screen, the advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, a 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200Mp periscope telephoto lens for 3x zoom. The device will reportedly be powered by a 5,700mAh battery and will support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The latest reveal suggests that the Vivo X200 Pro will boast a marginally larger display, which might be 6.7 or 6.8 inches, equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. The device will have innovative camera features supported by the V3+ ISP, like a 135mm focal length 200-megapixel telephoto lens, 4K120fps slow motion, telephoto macro mode, and advanced video abilities such as 4K backlit movie portrait mode. Furthermore, the Pro model is expected to be equipped with Vivo’s OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, having AI-powered tools such as real-time translation, voice transcription, beauty filters, and even AI NPCs for an enhanced gaming experience.
