Andy Lee has spilled some of the details of his proposal to his new fiancée, Rebecca Harding, after 10 years together,
Speaking on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick, The Hundred with Andy Lee The host, 43, revealed he proposed with a napkin – which symbolised the way in which the couple first met at a café all those years ago.
“Well, I’d waited for 10 years for Bec to propose, and I thought, ‘Bloody hell… I’m just going to have to do it’,” he said with a laugh.

“I proposed with a napkin. So, when I first met Bec, in a café, she was a waitress, and she was busy… I left my email address (on the napkin), which she didn’t like, but I just said, ‘If you have a boyfriend, just tell him that I’m using you to get to him. I bet he’s handsome.’
“So, in the morning, I’d actually gone back to the same café, got a napkin again, and I had written, ‘If you’ve got a husband, just tell him that I’m using you to get to him . I bet he’s handsome.’ And, I proposed with the napkin, which she loved.
“The hard thing is most people went, ‘About bloody time.’ There was no congratulations, just yelling and (asking) ‘Why didn’t you do it earlier?'”

Lee also said he “got the ring himself” without Harding’s help in choosing a design.
Just a month ago, he announced their engagement on the andy podcast,
“I asked Bec to marry me on Sunday,” Lee announced at the time.
“Is it a bit quick? That’s all I wanna ask,” Blake joked, before getting serious revealing he and wife Zoe Foster-Blake were “crying” at the news.

Lee said he took Harding to their “new old house” under the guise they needed to film videos for social media before they started the build.
While standing in front of the old marble fireplace, Lee said he pretended he could see something inside the fireplace and went to take a look before producing a napkin, in a nod to how they met.
Posting a loved-up photo, showing off the ring, they wrote, “People keep saying we rushed into this, but we don’t care what people say.”
