Angelina Jolie makes rare appearance with teen daughter


Angelina Jolie enjoyed a night out at the theatre with a very special plus one – her teen daughter Vivienne Jolie Pitt.

The actress, 48, and her 15-year-old stepped out in Los Angeles together for the opening night of Reefer Madness: The Musical.

The mother-daughter duo matched in power-dressing looks for the theatre as they sweetly posed for pictures together ahead of the show.

Jolie suited up for the occasion in a matching dark blazer and trousers set. She paired the look with a tucked white shirt featuring a tie printed on the front.

The star took a minimalist approach accessorising with some statement sunglasses.

Posing next to her mother, Vivienne wore a chic black vest over a blue buttoned shirt and trousers.

Jolie and her 15-year-old daughter were joined for pictures by Hollywood actress Kristen Bell who stunned in an elegant navy gown with a sheer top for the Los Angeles show.

It was a star-studded opening night with Modern Family alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson, scream star Neve Campbell, and One Tree Hill’s Barbara Alyn Woods in attendance.

Jolie shares Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15, with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Jolie and Vivienne’s heartwarming appearance out in LA comes just days after it was reported the teen had dropped her father Brad Pitt’s last name on a new theatre booklet.

People reported Vivienne had her last name printed as Jolie and not Jolie-Pitt on the playbill for The Outsiders.

The teenager worked as a production volunteer assistant on the Broadway show with her mother who produced the musical.

Weeks earlier Vivienne was sweetly spotted in the crowd supporting Jolie during an appearance on Today.

When co-host Hoda Kobt asked how Vivienne turned her onto the show, Jolie said the show is “about family”.

“The same reason it responded to her and the same reason she wanted me next to her watching it and the same reason we all hugged when I came out here is because this is about family,” the actress continued.
